Emergency Services Called Because Man Claims He Ran Out of Toilet Paper

A man called emergency services and demanded a toilet roll be rushed to his aid.

A 56 year old man faces possible court action after he called the emergency services hot-line and demanded a roll of toilet paper be rushed to his home.

The man, who’s identity remains anonymous, dialled 911 and claimed he was in danger of being “trapped”.

When operators questioned him further he informed them that he was stranded on the toilet and had no loo roll in which to wipe his bottom clean.

The operators took the call seriously and ordered both police, the fire department and paramedics to the man’s address until the prankster admitted later all he needed was toilet paper.

Police paid a visit to the address and the man was warned he faced possible court action.

“Calling the emergency services and asking for a roll of toilet paper is not an emergency”, claims a Police spokesman. “In light of the fact that dialling 911 is for a real emergency, being stranded on the toilet with no paper does not in any way constitute an emergency response.”

A friend of the man who dialled 911 claims he was “obviously full of crap and is in deep sheet now with the Feds”.

Are you telling me running out of toilet paper while you’re on the job ISN’T an emergency?

:) funny stuff. I especially liked what his friend said!
