Exactly What Kind of Judicial System is This

In the United States of America every person is entitled to a fair trial and is innocent until proven guilty.  However, does that mean that criminals should be slapped on the wrist and told “Uh, uh, uh, don’t you do that again or you will get a harder lashing next time” and turned back out on the street?  I don’t think so.

I guess what I am getting at is…exactly what kind of judicial system does the good old U.S.A. have and who is running it?

Do we have a good judicial system when an 18 year old can speed like a demon, hit another car head on, kill a six year old child, and get only probation and community service and his license taken away for only one year?  I don’t think so, how about you?

Do we have a good judicial system when two cold blooded murders who shot and killed a police officer and his ride along partner (and we are talking about shooting them at least 18 or more times and after they were already deceased) are let out on house arrest with just ankle monitors which they took off themselves.  Now one of them is back in jail for violating his house arrest orders.  But his brother is still “on the loose”.

Do we have a good judicial system when rapists, murderers, child molesters, and other violent criminals are turned out on the street because they “behaved themselves in jail” while people like Martha Stewart and the first “Survivor” winner (whatever his name is) are put in jail because of something that happened with money.  They did not kill or rape or torture anybody yet they go to jail while two killers get house arrest.  Hum, makes one think huh!

What kind of judicial system considers a 14 year old child an adult and tries them as such?  In my honest opinion, it is not a very good system at all.

In my opinion I want to know what kind of judicial system this country really has when murderers like O.J. Simpson walk free for murder yet go to jail for theft, fraud, or what ever it is that he did this last time.

And I cannot have much respect for a judicial system that will give immunity or cut deals with cold blooded, heartless, deceitful criminals just to get a confession from them and turn on another person.  If you are in on the crime, you do the same amount of crime.  I don’t really care if you actually pulled the trigger or if you were just there, YOU ARE GUILTY of murder.

So what kind of judicial system do you THINK we have?  I just told you my own OPINION of what I think about it.  You may or may not think differently.  That is fine.  I just wanted people to have something to think about.
