‘Cigarettes’ have over 400 chemicals in them. Making ‘them’ the most toxic-addictive drug ever legally and knowingly perpertrated on mankind.
Now you know what Joe Biden meant when he said of his then running mate, Barrack Obama, …” this guys got a spine of steel”. Can he whip the FDA in shape ? Will this president be the first,where others have failed,to get the FDA to effectively, fullfill their job requirements and safe guard the people from harmful drugs?

actually menthol was eliminated from the legislation, I suspect this has a lot to do with the fact that it is such a huge seller especially for PM who makes the second most popular brand of the flavor. Ultimately, the bill helps PM and industry leaders because it will increase consumption ( lower nicotine levels means smokers smoke more for their fix). Also regulation makes it harder to introduce risk-reducing alternatives. Furthermore, the bill makes cigs appear more safe because they are now approved by the federal government. STOMP! …that’s the sound of FDA snuffing out the tobacco industry. As this Newsy.com story mentions, this new legislation will give the FDA regulators an opportunity to finally regulate big tobacco the way it should be regulated–from a public health perspective.
