Funny Laws of the World

Laws are made to protect the citizens of a state or a country. Without law, it’s impossible to run a country. Without law, one cannot enjoy his/her rights and freedom. Recently I was researching on laws and orders of different countries and I came across some really hilarious laws in different parts of the globe.

Without law, one cannot enjoy his/her rights and freedom.  Recently I was researching on laws and orders of different countries and I came across some really hilarious laws in different parts of the globe.

Here are some sill laws that I came across.

  1. Are you against the idea of wearing underwear? IF yes, I would suggest you not to visit Thailand. As there it is illegal to go outside without wearing underwear, even though you are fully clothed.
  2. A silly law yet very sensible, in Sweden prostitution is legal but it is against the law to use the service of a prostitute.
  3. Visiting Switzerland? Even if you are having a bad stomach please think over before using the toilet after 10pm as it is illegal to flush the toilet after 10 PM
  4. This one is hilarious. In Arizona, you cannot let your donkey sleep in bathtubs.
  5. In Los Angeles, you can beat you wife with a leather belt not wider than 2 inches.

I’m in Arizona, so now I feel the urge to call the cops and anonymously tell them my annoying neighbor has a donkey in her bathtub… then sit on my patio with a tub of popcorn and watch the action. :)

These are great. In the wine world, this one is pretty silly:
UFOs are not allowed to fly over the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape in France – the edict was passed in 1954.
