How The Us Constitution is Being Taken Away Right From Under Your Noses

It’s really true that many Americans are unaware or never read their own US constitution. Year by year, Americans are being set up by their very own establishment to give up their rights. The same rights they inherited from their forefathers who fought with their blood, sweat and tears.

It’s pretty sad to see that many Americans are being manipulated by their elite and their mainstream media. They do not see how they are being set up as sheep ready for slaughter. The US Constitution is primarily set up to protect US citizens from their government by giving them special rights called the Bill of Rights. Rather than explain what the US Constitution is all about(you can check Wikipedia), I shall just present to you what amendments or rights US citizens have already lost or about to lose in the next few months.

The Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution Česky:(Photo credit: Wikipedia)

The First Amendment: In a nutshell it is about freedom of speech, freedom of religion, rights to peacefully assemble and rights to petition the government. (This right is in jeopardy)

The Second Amendment: Gives an individual the right to possess firearms to keep at home for self-defense. (This right is in jeopardy)

The Third Amendment:  Protects US citizens homes from being searched by soldiers during peacetime without the owner’s consent. Only in wartime it is permissible but only according to law. (This right has been lost.)

The Fourth Amendment: Protects US citizens from searches and seizures. All searches requires a warrant from the court judge and is to be  conducted by a law enforcement officer. (Lost)

The Fifth Amendment: Protects US citizens against abuse of government authority in a legal procedure. No one shall be held accountable for a crime unless indicted by a grand jury. (Lost)

The Sixth Amendment: This is rights in criminal prosecution. The accused will have the rights to have an impartial jury and a speedy trial.  He has the right to defend himself by having witnesses in his favor,  have the nature of the crime presented to him and get Assistance of Counsel for his defence. (Lost)

Unfortunately we live in a new World today, full off religious nutters
who disregard all our rights. In these times we all have too give up some of our freedoms, for the greater good of us all.

Our freedom in this country was founded on Christianity. Unfortunately – over the years – we have lost our footing and have allowed the government to take over more & more of our freedoms. That’s why I’m supporting Rick Santorum for President – even though he has suspended his campaign – I’m still voting for him because he is the one candidate who is advocating giving our freedom back to the people where it belongs & how our country was first established!!!

I do believe that some people’s amendment rights have been violated. I have to disagree with the media making Martin out to be an innocent kid. There’s some inconsistencies in this case and until the facts are presented to us it would be unfair to make assumptions. No one deserves to be gunned down, bottom line. Thanks for sharing information about amendments and the constitution.

Excellent article with carefully researched points. Sometimes, some of the rights have to be given up in the interest of a greater freedom – freedom of the country, but more often, unscrupulous politicians can curtail some of the rights to further their cause.

Unless Americans love to live under a totalitarian state and dictatorship which they have been preaching against for 229 years, they better not be caught napping. Once the bill of rights have been taken away, it will be gone forever. You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s all gone.

This is happening. It is real. The leaders of the Western world are almost verging on the same dictatorships seen in third world countries. The UK isn’t far behind.

All western leaders just seek power. They buy their way to the chair, and then they must repay favors to the powerful & rich people that brought them there. So the real rollers are actually the richest people that control our countries no matter who it the current president.

Amendments must be offered without going backwards.

Even the US education system is designed to give the government more power.

Hi, countryman, you really know a lot, very well written, make me feel embarrassed, because I, a simple woman next door, only know trivial matters, don’t know what’s going on in the world, especially about US, though my boss Triond is based in US. Glad to see you back here with another awesome post. If you stop, it’s a loss to Triond.
