Law Enforcement and Restraining Orders – Part 2

Has the law gone mad?

I have recently written an article about a police officer that is also my ex partner who has been harassing me and threatening me and my family. I had tried to get a restraining order on him, but I was told not to bother. Well, funny thing is this idiot of a police officer had one placed on me and my partner for no good reason.

Mr. D. Head had gone to the courts and had made up a bunch of lies about my partner to gain the restraining order and had used his police credentials in court to make sure he got it. My eldest son, who unfortunately belongs to Mr. D. Head is not allowed contact with my partner whom he has known since he was for his whole life virtually and I have an order to keep away from my own house while my son is in my care.

I am not allowed to go home until my son goes back to his father. My partner and I are the victims and yet we are getting punished. And to make matters even worse, Mr. D. Head hadn’t got his facts or evidence together in the first hearing when we contested the orders, so the magistrate had extended our hearing for five months later.

My son is absolutely devastated as he loves my partner. Not only that, My daughter, has to spend time away from her home and her father if she wants to see her brother. I have to spend time away from my partner and in the end, I am splitting my family apart every time I have contact with my son.

We have spent a fortune in lawyers to contest this and yet we have done nothing wrong. I am so angry and my faith in the legal system is more than shattered. I will never trust the law for as long as I live.
