Legal Smoke: Are Marijuana Alternative Head Shops Really Legal?

We hit the Internet highway in a quest to find an herbal head shop in America. We found a name that kept popping up as one of the most popular on-line sources for herbal smoke products.  The name of that website is legalSmoke.net and the owner who we will call “John D.” wished to remain anonymous.

We found out by speaking to John D. that all of the herbs used in his products are all legal in the U.S. But it is the combinations of herbs used in just the right quantities that cause the reaction. For instance; the herb damiana smoked by itself can cause a relaxing euphoric effect. But concentrate Damiana or mix it with another herb such as Blue lotus and the recipe becomes more potent. The combination of herbs drastically amplifies the medicinal and euphoric properties of each herb.

We asked John D. what he thought his signature blend was and he quickly noted that JackPot was his top seller. Perhaps the reason for this is in the name. He also noted that his product Spice Mixer was quickly gaining popularity because of it’s ability to double the quantity of other expensive herbal smoke blends without comprimising  potency. John D creates his own herbal blends and does not allow other head shops to sell his products. His reason for this is that he does not want his herbal blends to be put side by side with inferior blends that have little or no qualities.  He explained, ” I want people to know that when they purchase my products they will have a positive experience. If my product is put beside another product that doesn’t work it reflects poorly on the products that I have spent hours and hours to create”.

John D. explained that it is a tough market to sell in. Even though herbal smoke products are legal in the U.S these products are looked at as taboo. John D. has been kicked off from EBay and had merchant credit acceptance company’s freeze his accounts. And all for selling what is legal to sell in the U.S.

We asked John D. if his products are safe and he explained, ” I take great care in ensuring that all my products are created with the strictest sanitary precautions. And yes, they are safe. But I wouldn’t say that inhaling anything other then air is healthy. Our lungs were not designed to inhale smoke or toxins. But I can say that my herbs are more healthy then chemical laced tobacco. And some of my herbs have definite health and psychological benefits. Damiana for instance helps alleviate depression, anxiety, stress, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, impotence and is known to be a mild aphrodisiac. And there are many more benefits than the ones I just mentioned”.
