FACT:

Marijuana is Eco friendly.

Marijuana is a very efficient and clean bio fuel that can eliminate our need for oil.
Ford’s first car ran on bio fuel made from hemp oil. This is also good for national security since we won’t need to buy or steal oil from the middle eastern countries that hate us anymore and we can leave them alone.

It can also be used to make paper which will save trees. And acre of hemp can produce as much paper as 4.1 acres of trees. Obviously this is good for the environment.

FACT:

Marijuana is material.

Marijuana is a very strong durable and flexible material that can be used to make clothes, paper, plastics, rope and many other things that will last longer than the current materials used today. The Constitution was written on hemp paper. Hemp paper does not yellow or crumble. Ford’s first car was made from hemp plastic. This plastic recycles easy and doesn’t produce toxins when burned.

FACT:

Marijuana is completely safe.

Since the beginning of human history there has not been one single accident, or death caused by someone who was high on only marijuana. In fact, by legalizing it, we would most likely see at least a small drop in deaths caused by drunk drivers and DUI, since more people will be more inclined to stay at home and watch movies. Nobody gets high and goes out and commits crimes. They stay home and eat.

FACT:

The marijuana strand “Sativa” is usually what makes you laugh. It is most importantly an an appetite stimulant, and an aphrodisiac to spice up those boring relationships. Sorry Viagra :(

The marijuana strand “Indica” is a pain reliever, muscle relaxer and sleep inducer. It also reduces stress, anxiety and depression.

FACT:

Marijuana has never been proven to kill or reduce brain cells or harm the lungs. In fact, some people who are legal recipients of government marijauna smoke about 300 to 500 marijuana cigarettes a month. They have no health problems with their lungs and they are productive members of society that lead respectful lives. Doctors lawyers and teachers have all been known use cannabis. Even the Governor of California admits to “knowing how to have a good time”.

In conclusion:

Obviously the oil, pharmaceutical, paper, nylon, plastic, polyester, cotton, lumber, health care, and prison industries, drug dealers, and the DEA all stand to lose from the legalization of marijuana and stand to gain profit from its criminalization. Which is why they all spend billions of dollars on PR campaigns to convince you that weed is dangerous, evil, and for losers. It is really just all about business. Not to mention the billions they spend on contributions (bribes) to politicians to keep it illegal. WAKE UP and smell the truth people! This is about fiscal conservatism and personal freedom. The plant itself doesn’t harm anyone, but prohibition does do harm to the free market and our safety. Just like prohibition of alcohol did during the twenties. It did more harm than good to keep alcohol illegal, and alcohol causes more deaths that any other drug when ingested.

Lets be practical here and legalize marijuana…

Good write-up. One thing I noticed though, is 48% of America does NOT smoke weed, haha. Legalization would have happened long ago if half the country was breaking this law. 48% have admitted to trying it, but only 10-14% smoke somewhat regularly.

    Still a huge number!
