While you’ve been sleeping martial law has been declared in the under privileged neighborhoods of this country.

The authorities who have time and again failed to control the spread of crime simply declared martial law.

And innocent citizens who have done nothing wrong continue to be caught in the crossfire and persecuted.

When driving through a targeted neighborhood police may follow you and run your tags with no just cause.

You may be stopped and questioned as to your destination.

You may be asked to step out of your vehicle and be searched or handcuffed.

Officers in plain clothes who don’t show badges and refuse to give information on who they are.

We have become prisoners in our own cities.
