Pathetic Anthony Bologna Still Manages to Hold on to His Job

Are two documented instances of criminal civil rights violations not enough? Already in May 2001 reports surfaced of Bologna shoving two protesters, leaving, and then returning to arrest them. In 2004 multiple lawsuits were filed against the NYPD when Bologna allegedly committed false arrest. The media finally took notice when this September 24th he was recorded macing two female protesters without any provocation whatsoever. Bologna was seen walking up to the two women, attacking them with pepper spray and just walking away after. Senior NYPD officials like Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly later defended him, criticizing the protesters as tumultuous, disorderly and intent on blocking traffic. It is clear that if it wasn’t for the media outrage, Bologna would not even have been investigated. What is wrong with the police in this country? Fools like this ‘man’, as he may be referred to in the widest possible definition of the word, are why people don’t respect our authorities anymore.
