Police and Brutality
I wrote this to expose police, some of the worst criminals. I first published this on Writers-Network.com.
This brings me to Rodney King. So maybe he was under the influence. Maybe he was driving away from the cops. Maybe he was resisting arrest. But, did that give those police the right to harass him like the did? It was because of them that those riots in Los Angeles occurred. Do you think that they really cared? Do you think that when they saw that guy getting pulled of that truck by those vicious “thugs” they had a single ounce of remorse? I don’t. What I think is that they try to send messages to the people. They try to tell the people (the citizens) that they are under the law, while cops are above. What it comes down to is that, at the end of the day, it is the fathers and mothers of families that become the “ultimate protectors”.
So in conclusion, what do you think? Am I right, or am I wrong? Should my opinions be valued, or denied. I am just some dude in his late teens that has things to say, but wants to say them (and sometimes even shout them) at the wrong moments. I want to open people’s eyes with my words. I want people to know that what I am saying, I really mean. Whether or not this essay gets read by one person, or one million people, does not matter. But what does matter is the fact that my words are set in stone for anyone that wishes to read them. They are for anyone that agrees with me, or who disagrees with me. This may not even be able to be called persuasion, for it is too opinionated. I don’t care though. I just want people to feel the pain I feel when I see the innocent get jailed, and the filthy criminals freed. Is it all just one huge conspiracy, or am I just crazy? It does not matter at this point. What does matter is that those men getting freed because of another’s ignorance might kill or rape or rob or even hurt again, while the innocent get harassed for no reason. It’s just ain’t fair!
