Public officers such as fire men and police officers risk their lives daily. They are human. When my television is reporting a story about a cop gone bad I get angry. Why? The media for got to tell us about the rest of the force. We used to say one bad apple spoils the whole bunch. Not true in law enforcement. Media can cause dis-respect for public servants who are sworn in to uphold the law and fight evil.

May God above help us when and if they become the criminals. Policemen need honor, not an early death. They have families and are someone’s son or daughter. Who do you want to call in the middle of the night when your home is broken into? Not an evil person. If you have to call one. have an emergency number ready and be truthful and cooperative. If weapons are present, for God’s sake tell them. It is your tax dollars. It might be your life they save. And if not necessay, let them do their job for another-please.
