Rebecca Black Sued Her Record Company

Rebecca Black sang a song “Friday.” The first time i heard it, from my opinion, it was actually not that bad. I heard it a second time and noticed some horrible parts to it. It was like super auto tuned and it seriously hurt my ears. Recently I’ve heard from a friend Justin *** that Rebecca Black sued her record company. Because of that, I am here to tell you how funny that sounds. At the beginning, I was thinking “just because she sang pretty horribly she doesn’t have to sue her record company.. It isn’t their fault.” Then my friend told me it was because they were making money off of her horrible singing. If I were her i would definitely sue them.

After five minutes of researching I found my answer. Rebecca Black’s Record Company took her song “Friday” and made it their own. Before complaining how bad her singing is, listen to what I am going to type. Well read it not listen. Rebecca bought a 4,000 US dollar right to create a music video from that Record Company.  Because of her getting famous on you tube, her company took her video and song and made it into their own. Although Rebecca had a contract with the Company, they said that it is now theirs and that the contract was not official. After paying 4,000 dollars and getting famous on you tube, she lost it all. Not only they took the video, they also threatened her that if she tries to copyright it it will be copy right infringement. After she sued them, the Record Company announced that there wasn’t this argument whatsoever. There was evidence that they were arguing, but i cannot find the video. 

What is this article about anyways?

I am not saying that Rebecca Black is any better but I am saying that her company sucks more than she does. That is just stupid. Why would they do that to a failing infamous woman/lady? I do not favor Rebecca Black in any way, actually i think her singing still sucks and will never change. But I wrote this to get people to watch out about how bad people are these days. Make contracts official and don’t be tricked!
