Remembering a Restaurateur: Julien Hug
From a restaurateur to an uprising star on "The Bachelorette", Julien Hug was well on his way to making his name a household topic. Only the sad news is he wasn’t able to see it come to pass.
Julien Hug, a talented 35 year old restaurateur from San Diego, CA was featured on the fifth season of The Bachelorette show, Episode 2 but was eliminated at the rose ceremony.
Julien was reported missing on Monday, and was later found dead in Riverside, County off of Highway 74 on Wednesday. His body was found by the sheriff’s department in a remote area around Pinyon Pines described as a place that you would have to hike to in order to get there. No cause of death has been determined as of yet. He was described as being kind-hearted with gentle mannerisms and with a positive attitude.
He was well on his way to making his name a household one with his talents in the family’s restaurant businesses and having been on The Bachelorette. That was a great opportunity that just doesn’t happen to anyone at anytime. His appearances on the show episodes said a lot for his character being that they were always in good taste and he handled himself like a real gentleman.
An interesting fact though is that on Julien’s blog, he states that he loved to write and that he was a much better writer of words than speaker of words. His intent through blogging was to make someone laugh because that signified he had planted an inspiring word and the result was a gentle smile. I think this is a generous “hug” that expresses symbolism to his name.
My sincere condolences and prayers go out to Julien’s family and friends.
