Social Security Disability Rejection
My wife was seriously injured and has been denied any disability compensation even though she can hardly work anymore. This shall show everyone how and why this could happen to them and a theoretical way to avoid it.
In January of this year my wife was exercising her young gilding right by a friend’s barn. For some unknown reason he shied out from under her. Unfortunately we live up in an area that has a real harsh terrain. A lot of rocks jolt out of the ground almost everywhere. In her case the fall to the ground broke her vertebrae.
Unfortunately the small town hospital she was initially taken too could not treat her properly and the Amarillo Veterans Affairs hospital I normally hit couldn’t ether. This injury had her taken all the way to a specialty hospital in Amarillo for the necessary surgery. Most of the medical people in that hospital thought she had been very lucky. She just ended up with a metal rod in her back and a paralyzed right leg.
The operation has left her with a bit of pain. That piece of metal in her back hurts almost all the time. She has had to try to get things done normally with one leg that no longer moves. The pain and misery hardly allows her to work part time anymore. Unfortunately I hadn’t been the one paying all our bills. Her time in the hospital in Amarillo has cost us so much because her credit card hadn’t been paid. That company increased the interest rate up so high no payments can be made while the groceries are still purchased.
This made my wife apply for the same kind of Social Security disability compensation that some women we know have been given. It’s just that the local hospital didn’t keep her initial records and they weren’t turned in. After that initial hold back my wife went through some medical examination. Unfortunately this doctor must have felt he would be blamed for my wife’s medical problems. That’s probably why he wouldn’t turn any records of that examination in either.
In the end my wife has been denied any disability compensation and she is now forced to lay around in pain and hope her husband might eventually recover . I hope she has that last bit of positivity. When I initially heard about her rejection I raced out to our library so Internet access could promptly be obtained. That allowed me to write email to the President, the New Mexico Senator and Congressmen. I did that out of hope that one of them might help a bit.
That act of desperation got us one bit of help. A New Mexico Congressman has put one of his helpers onto helping my wife out a bit. It ought to be very obvious to anyone that if some doctor feels like his reputation would be harmed through a patients disability he probably wouldn’t want that patient to obtain any and hide the records. My fingers sure aren’t partaking in any fraud scam. They are trying to let some facts be known nation wide. Energy equals mass times constant speed square.
