Three Branches of Government
The enumerated and implied powers of the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branch.
The national government of the United States of America is made up of three branches the Legislative, Judicial, and Executive Branch. The powers of each of these branches check the other, which was done to prevent tyranny. The Legislative Branch is made up of two houses the House of Representatives, and the Senate. The Legislative branch has the power to draft laws and pass on to the President for approval. The Executive Branch is made up of the President of the United States, and of other national organizations such as the CIA, FBI, etc. The Executive Branch can make treaties, nominate ambassadors, judges, and other federal officers, execute the laws, and adjourn Congress. The Judicial Branch is made up of the Supreme Court and of smaller courts. The Judicial Branch can say if there has been a violation in the Constitution and abolish it. Thus, the branch with the most power would have to be the Executive Branch.

Additionally, tt would be the Executive Branch because of its wide variety of powers. The Executive Branch has the ability to convene the houses or adjourn Congress, and it can veto a law. The Executive Branch can almost stop any bill from turning into a law, thus they have to power to limit the Legistlative Branch. Moreover, the Executive Branch can organize treaties, obtain ambassadors, and nominate positions. This Branch would contain the power to choose the people in the Judicial Branch such as the Supreme Court judges. Thus showing its power over the Judicial Branch, and lastly the Executive Branch is in charge of the army, which has the power to handle war in its own way. Therefore, the Executive Branch is the most powerful branch of the three.
