Troy Anthony Davis Teaches, a Lesson in Freedom
The Execution of a possibly innocent, man, reduces our Country to the least common denominator. We are like any other Country. How proud are we?

”It is better to let one hundred guilty men to go free, than to execute one innocent man!”
I am not too sure who said that, but I do believe it. I am ashamed, today. I am ashamed, that The System failed to notice the out cry about ”Justice for All”. Ashamed that Troy’s consistent, direct, claims of innocence, fell on deaf ears. Ashamed that the evidence, recanted statements, and additional documents were unimportant to a State in This Union, as well as to the Supreme Court.
The United States of America claims to be superior to other Countries. We claim to be more fair, more idealistic, more evolved, but we are not, I’m sad to say. We took a step back in time the moment Troy passed. We went back to the early eighteen hundreds, pre-Civil War Era, when everything was so absolute.
Today, I am Ashamed! I am ashamed of the Country, that I love so much, believed in so much, and defended so much. Today, I am ashamed! Are you? I truly hope so.
