Weed: It’s Just a Plant Right?

Marijuana has been used for many many years.  I believe that it should be legalized for many reasons but i will just sum it up into a few lines.

• Marijuana has been used by people for a very long time and legallizing it is not going to stop people from using it
• The government wastes money on arresting people with the possession of marijuana which they could be using to convict murderers and REAL criminals
• Marijuana has been proven to not be as harm full as some other drugs such as tobacco or alcohol. The only real damage that could be done is if someone smoked everyday all day, it would destroy their brain cells, however, there is similar or WORSEresults if someone did this with a legal drug such as alcohol or tobacco
•  Users of the drug would not have to go through criminal dealers and they would be safer
• I will honestly say i have used marijuana and that i can function easier when I’m high compared to when i am drunk
• Finally, it is currently legalized in many states for MEDICAL USE, this could not be too bad of a drug if it is being used medically
