Today, the best way to end a marriage is to do it through an uncontested divorce proceeding. This is, by far, the simplest and the cheapest way of getting a divorce. It also gives the couple a chance to part ways calmly and with both their dignities intact.
As stated, an uncontested divorce’s main advantage is the costs. Traditional divorce proceedings can be quite expensive. But with uncontested divorce, a personal lawyer is not even necessary. The money saved then, can be put to a more productive use such as savings for the kid’s future.
Uncontested divorce is private and it works in a very simple way. To use this method, both you and your spouse should be in talking terms. That’s because you have to draw up an agreement. It will be hard to do that if both of you are fighting. It is essential that the ability to stay in control is observed.

In the uncontested way of ending a marriage, both parties should be on the same grounds. If violence is present, the abused party is surely not in an advantageous position. Hence, lawyers are needed.

What the couples have to do is to call them, be on an internet meeting with them, or send the papers in. Whichever the case, it all depends upon the lawyer as to how he like the whole thing worked out.
The most important reason of filing for an uncontested divorce instead is its ability to make divorcing couples on a good level as they go their separate ways. It won’t drive them further against each other just like the normal divorce proceedings work. This should be the primal reason as to why both of you are going for uncontested divorce.
The cost for an uncontested divorce varies from lawyer to lawyer. On a maximum, the lawyer charges around $1,200. The fees depend mostly on the properties and the number of children involved. However, that amount was seen to go down to as low as $90, especially if there is not too much legal work to be done and everything is already taken cared of.
But before heading for an uncontested divorce, both parties should take time to be informed of what they are entering into. If they can get a coach, or consult with a personal lawyer, they should do so. Knowledge is still the best weapon.
