10 Basic Feng Shui Tips to Create Wealth and Abundant Living
Are you interested in living in the very best conditions possible? Studies and experts alike believe that the words you listen to, the people you surround yourself with, and the environment you keep does wonders for your peace of mind and overall well being. So, how do you ensure that you’re living in the optimal conditions?

About a year ago a friend of mine introduced me to Feng Shui, a practice that definitely has a spiritual science to its reasoning. Whether you believe in the exact “religion” of this philosophy, I believe the act of giving attention to your surroundings to make them as pleasant and meaningful as possible naturally creates a feeling of increased value and attention to what’s important to you, thus, making you feel more cared for and valuable. After all, the more we care for what is important to us, the more tell ourselves how much we are worth.
So whether you decide to follow the exact Feng Shui tips that follow or not, keep the basic principle in your mind: if something is important to you, give it its proper attention, it will change and transform the way you see every aspect in your life. You will begin to treat everything you care about in your life with more care, respect and love.
Some Feng Shui Tips to get you started:
1. Welcome Visitors
Hang a flat Ba-Gua mirror about the outside of any entrance door. It is used to protect your home from any negative energy in your neighborhood. Only use it outdoors and if there is negative energy you need to repel.
2. Protect your home
Place a pair of fu dogs on either side of the front door of your home or business. They act as important guard “dogs” to keep you safe and sound.
3. Your address
It’s important to make sure your home/business address is completely visible both day and night.
4. Create more cash flow
The constant flow of water, especially outdoors is believed to attract a constant stream of money into your life. Choose a job that has a nice fountain in the main atrium or make sure to add a stream in your landscaping plans.
5. Dispose of any dried plants/flowers
While they might bring back romantic memories, dried flowers are dead and they are believed to reflect wealth. Because of this, it is advisable to replace all dead plants with fake or silk replicas.

Feng shui is not always true, it depends. Our fate is not destined by feng shui but ourselves. Liked it.

Nice piece. I have been ‘cleaning house’ for the last year, giving items to charity: 2 good effects, they benefit and I feel better about my home/self.
Thanks,

I’m not sure I believe in this idea. If one didn’t work, no matter how many coin-shaped plants he possessed, he wouldn’t have a stream of wealth.
However, this is a well-presented and well-researched article. Thank you for sharing this.

Feng-Shui was such a craze in India a few years back. It was like fashion accessories for your home. Im not sure if people really knew why and what for they were stocking on the bamboo shoots, the coins or the Buddha. This artile gives an indepth view. Good one.
