10 Basic Feng Shui Tips to Create Wealth and Abundant Living

Are you interested in living in the very best conditions possible? Studies and experts alike believe that the words you listen to, the people you surround yourself with, and the environment you keep does wonders for your peace of mind and overall well being. So, how do you ensure that you’re living in the optimal conditions?

6. Closets & drawers

If you do not use something in your closets and drawers, be sure to give, sell or throw these items away. The lack of use translates in a lack of action and motion in your life. You want to move your life in the opposite direction: continual growth and action.

7. Add mirrors

When you add mirrors to a room it visually gives the illusion that the room is larger than it is. This creates the feeling of more space and the idea of limitless possibilities. It makes a big difference in the long run.

8. Attract more wealth

It is believed that placing plants in the wealth area of your home (southeast room of your home), especially leaves that are coin shaped attracts wealth. However, it’s important to make sure that you keep your plant healthy and growing. If you see dead leaves be sure to remove them because this reflects the wealth in your life and you want your wealth to grow and prosper!

9. Create abundance

Keeping your cupboards and refrigerator well stocked translates abundance and gives one the feeling of having abundance. Get in the habit of buying in bulk, it not only saves money and time, it will make you feel wealthy, thus attracting more riches into your life.

10. Create more opportunities

Less truly is more according to feng shui principles. When your rooms are cramped with furniture and belongings it gives a person the feeling of restriction. However, the opposite is true as well. When you have more room, you give yourself the space and open the flow of opportunities into your life.

Feng shui is not always true, it depends. Our fate is not destined by feng shui but ourselves. Liked it.

Nice piece. I have been ‘cleaning house’ for the last year, giving items to charity: 2 good effects, they benefit and I feel better about my home/self.
    Thanks,

I don’t usually believe in feng-shui but the tips in this article made sense to me. I especially like the notion of treating everything we care about with more respect, care and love.
    Beautiful photos too, great job!

I’m not sure I believe in this idea. If one didn’t work, no matter how many coin-shaped plants he possessed, he wouldn’t have a stream of wealth.
However, this is a well-presented and well-researched article. Thank you for sharing this.

Feng-Shui was such a craze in India a few years back. It was like fashion accessories for your home. Im not sure if people really knew why and what for they were stocking on the bamboo shoots, the coins or the Buddha. This artile gives an indepth view. Good one.
