10 Fountains of Happiness That are Within Everyone’s Reach
These are some of the simplest things that people from all walks of life can take in order to be happy.
Watching Butterflies Flit from Flower to Flower

Happiness can be a very simple proposition if we take in a very simple way. But millions of people spend their lifetimes in search of things that can make them happy. And no one can be ridiculed for such effort for every human being longs for it. The need to be happy is human itself. However, lives are ruined because of human follies and their unwillingness to believe that happiness is everywhere. We can be so happy by just watching a colorful butterfly sipping flower nectar around our backyards. Just watch and contemplate over it, for it brings happiness that can be as high as touring and spending nights in extremely luxurious hotel rooms of Dubai or Paris.
Spending Quality Summer at Nearby Beaches

Industrialization and the whirlwind urban life is a deprivation of happiness. Bar hopping, shopping and watching movies are common diversions during weekends for which one will have to spend a great deal of money. And often times the stresses of the humdrum of everyday city life cannot be even allayed by these weekend pastimes. And one may still find himself/herself starting a new week bored and unhappy. One of the best remedies for this is just a quality time spent on beaches nearby. We don’t have to travel the world in search for a paradise beach to do this. Satisfaction everyone knows is one of the keys to a happy life.
Planting Trees

We know that we will eventually grow old and pass this world, and the constant thoughts of it bring much agony to our inner selves. So mankind has been in constant search since the beginning of time of ways on how to thwart this grim and dark natural reality. The intellectual field of philosophy came into being primarily from the human effort to understand his existence and eventually his death so us to lessen the pangs of such eventual end. We don’t need to philosophize all we may need to do is plant a tree. Trees can outlive series of generations, thus the seeming continuity of the existence of the one who planted it. Moreover, planting trees to a further extent is making our earth a much better place to live in for our children and our children’s children. Aren’t we happy in a little way doing so?
Spending Quality Time With Loved Ones

Many people spent their lives in different arenas of life that they believed would make them happy. For them love and marriage were a form of human weaknesses that they don’t have to succumb into the trap of it. Were they right? Many of them end up in personal downfall and lived the rest of their lives in hypocrisy. Countless people can testify that love and well-planned marriages are more than enough to make people happy. According to an unknown poet, it is in loving and being loved is what life itself all about.
Proper Time Management

Time is gold, the old adage goes. The importance of time can be even more valuable than the brilliance of gold itself that many people closed their days unhappy and desolate because of their failure to make most of their time. Students and working people hold a common story on time management. That is if they manage to allocate and make most of their time, they are happy and so relax at the end of any day. On the other hand, failure to do so makes their days stressful and deprives them even of good sleep. Doing things that we can do today is certainly one of the keys to end the day in high spirit.
Happiness indeed is just around us and within our inner selves. Our emotional state is entirely our own discretion. And it’s simply hard to complain for being unhappy for much of the grief that haunts this world are products of our follies and unwillingness to embrace such things which are simple and lowly. Happiness is a choice, not a destiny.

The true happiness lies in the activities of our daily life which are ignored. Very effective piece…it forces us to think again before running for the wealth.

What a nice piece. Thanks for taking the time to add graphics, it kind of helps drill in the point, especially when you say to stop and see a sunset or a beautiful flower… can’t help but notice when you put it up there :O) I also liked the diversity in your pics.

Greatwords of wisdom, It’s true that we don’t need a lot to be happy,a roof over our head, clothes on our back, food to eat, worthy work for our hands and the beautiful world to live in that’s all we need.
