Challenges
Challenges are terrible. There is no doubt about that, but we must face them. Whether you like it or not, challenges are just part of life.
“People should not suffer pain.” Why would somebody say something like that? Usually when someone suffers emotional pain, they learn some sort of lesson. When my dog died, I learned that he was in a much better place, and that I can’t feel sorry for myself knowing that he’s happier than he’s ever been. Even if you’re suffering physical pain from and injury, you still learn something. I have watched many T.V. shows about people who have had near-death experiences. Each person said the same thing: “I no longer take life for granted,” which means that these people appreciate life more than they did before the accident. If there was no pain, a lot less lessons would be learned in society.
In the end, we would not have a great society without challenges and pain. Nobody would know, or have learned anything. Imagine how many bad drivers there are now. Without the challenge of Drivers’ Ed, imagine what the drivers would be like, and how many accidents there would be then! What I mean is that there will always be challenges and pain, we can’t escape them, so we must learn to accept them.
