Conquering Self Doubt
Do you feel swamped with self doubt? Is your life spiralling out of control because of negative thoughts and emotions? Do you feel that peace of mind and happiness is beyond your grasp? Instead of looking outside of yourself for answers, take a deep breath, and go within to conquer your inner demons.

It is part of the human condition to be riddled with self doubt, feeling swamped by emotions both false and true. It isn’t always easy to discern one from the other. It is like a constant struggle between positive thoughts and emotions and negative ones. It has always been this way, and the person in search of true enlightenment must learn to take command, and govern these thoughts and emotions, or else be swept away by them. You need only need look at any situation in your life. Whenever you are faced with a decision or problem, contrasting thoughts immediately come into your mind. An inability to control the influx of negative and positive energies, thoughts and emotions often results in a nervous break down. This is a reflex action triggered by the multiple choices given to the human mind, and the complete failure to distinguish right from wrong, good from bad, left from right, and positive from negative. The person simply cannot choose, so their mind shuts down that portion of the brain, leaving them with an inability to make decisions.
If you have a decision to make you will find your mind clouded with various thought forms, suggestions, advice and nagging doubts. Your task as an informed being is to discern the negative from the positive, or in other words whether the origins of each thought form is your own thought process, outside influences, or past influences. These can also stem from excessively strong willed personalities within your immediate surroundings. You must tune into your feelings so you are able to touch each of these thoughts, and in examining them, eliminate the negative. By eliminating you consciously acknowledge that single piece of negative energy, and consciously let it go with love, always with love.
By doing this you will be faced by the remaining thoughts and options all of them being positive. With time, effort and practice you’ll be able to perform this exercise as soon as you enter a new situation. And remember, always remember, for this is important. New situations can arise without you ever having to set foot outside your abode. Using this system will help eliminate among the following:
- Trauma
- Thoughtlessness
- Irrational behaviour
- Temper/Anger/Violent Outbursts
- Arguments
- Inertia
- Indecisive behaviour
- Forgetfulness
- Laziness
- Illness
By overcoming these negative states you will truly be in full control of your life. In living your life positively, in peace and harmony you will attract more positivity into your life. Like always attracts like.

Thanks Raine, I’ve printed this off and stuck it up in my office, it’s so easy to slip into bad habits. Very inspiring.
