Contemplations and Realizations

Since you’ve been here, I’ve been learning more and more about myself. A few days ago I asked myself: to Reestablish and Resurrect; to Repress or Reconnect?

What is there to resurrect when what was is not what is?

Clearly, we’ve both changed. We’re two different individuals.

The more I believe I’ve accepted you for who you are, the less I accept you for what you do.

Who you’ve molded into is no one special; you speak your revelations and beneath your words is someone with spirit, yet no faith. Where is your shine, where is your jewel? Where do you differentiate?

You defined what a woman is and I am not yet a woman; I have a long way to go. But what you’ve done for me — these unintentional realizations you’ve induced upon me — has given me the strength to grow into a true woman. It is such a revelation: to know the qualities that create everything of which embodies a woman. And when that day of empowerment comes: I will be every woman.

I’m learning that I’m worth much more. I’m shining more everyday, I am one to differentiate. I’m embracing me and who I am. I’m caring less of these personal insecurities, allowing my consciousness to roam free.

What we had was special; you were everything I needed, at the time. It was only a matter of getting over who you were and what we had. I needed that sense of closure and the way I see it:

Time has passed, things have changed, you and I are no longer the same.

Now, I am ready to move on.
