Wake Up…

Open your eyes to the hideous night you have enveloped yourself on.

We went to sleep a long time ago and haven’t woken up for a lifetime already. And I am out of patience, for now I was supposed to be enjoying the bliss already. Inheriting everything we didn’t want from the ones who didn’t want this themselves. And in this generation, where we lack all their Savio and Hoffman and the watchdog gone blind, all we do is bury our head deep in the same piece of shit that we procure.

Everyday nation wakes up in a TV set, greeted by square-jawed, combed over, designer suited vacuous mirror, a representative reporter for ghettos and suburbia alike, promoted to higher tax bracket by trust funds from manors decrying the ghetto and laboring the suburbia. “Elites” lacking cohesive attention and possessing baffled disregard for information over entertainment. Right wing inflammatory and left wing jocular battling for entertainment for their niche audience, each as much true to each’s ears. Crossfires of fruitless fruition and man with butterfly neck ties and misguided righteousness.

We wake up on the network battle for ratings and judge their performances and the fancier they play, harder we applaud. Each day their antique keep us accompanying on the masked news conducting rippling effect, derailing the well intentioned effort of The misguided idealist. But we have let go of the capability to foresee a long time ago. Instant gratification, vacuous looks at the kidnappings and murdering, Ritalin-esque attentions for the kid in the well, over the top reaction for $0.95 cents more for a gallon and pop-eye to a busty blond driving the beyond sub-standard rimmed SUV; mileage the best without compromising the performance (meaning don’t care about the fine print, focus on the cleavage, yeah you want that, so get the car you stupid). Subtlety, that’s what they teach you at business schools nowadays. Association and appearance and subtle law abidance, all the way, takes your company a long way.

Woken up to a cup of latte and sub-par knowledge of world state, but yet armed with the flavoring sense of ubiquitous knowledge wielding, opinionated citizens of America, out we go to conquer the world and, some literally. Disagreement of opinion and Disagreement of appearance, the two weakness of ignorance and US of A.

The first cup of coffee in the morning and the media(in current state)-obsessed Us, we are ready for the world. We are ready for disarmament of every other opposition with affluence of our opinion. As we say in the land of the free, everyone is entitled for an opinion as long as it is not different from mine.

We are armed with ignorance and apathy, and we shall conquer the world because of this ignorance and apathy.
