You can leave a kind footprint in the sand.

If you’re constantly looking for ways to choose kinder, greener choices in life your heart is definitely in the right place. Every time you opt for environmentally safe products and lifestyle decisions you’re not only making the world a better place for yourself, you’re altruistically making it better for everyone.

Your choices are infinitely important.

Keep in mind that every choice you make is truly important. Just imagine what a difference it would make if every single person on the earth changed one un-earth friendly habit one time a year. The volume of waste, the culmination of pollution, and the shift to the right direct would create a significant change. Now, taking it a step further, imagine that these same people began to make a new change every single day. The result would be a world wide, spectacular new world.

Together, we truly can make a difference.

So here’s something that can help get you started or continue the momentum of your green friendly habits flowing: As most people know, many companies test their products on animals or use earth unfriendly products. If you’d like to purchase something for yourself or a loved one, please check out the list below for cruelty-free cosmetic and personal care products you can use to take one more step toward a greener world.

I am always thinking green but to apply in life is one thing that most people need to become more aware of and I love how you found an idea of becoming greener from products you buy. This is one of the most eco-friendly ways we can contribute as consumers:)

    Good article.

Lostash, I did a quick search and in the UK I came up with:

    http://greengiftguide.com/

    http://www.naturalcollection.com/category/beauty-health-and-wellbeing/toiletries-and-cosmetics/

    http://www.soorganic.com/home.php

One thing that sort of annoys me about the organic scene is that the vast majority of the products need to be bought online–at least if you want to pay a semi-reasonable price. For example, 100% natural peppermint oil is supposed to discourage rodents from pestering you. Which seems a much better way of dealing with the problem than killing them.

Well, at a shop near us 1/3 of an ounce of that oil was over $10 but you can get 4 ounces for $10 on amazon. And if you don’t know if it works or anything, just want to try it; you’re not going to shell out $30-40, right?

    Regards,

    Inna

I like the home made products that you know are safe. Some of these products that are advertized as safe have chemicals and they are so costly.
