Five Ways to Find More Time

We all have 24 hours in a day. Some of us just can not find time to get what we need to done in a day. If you want to simplify your life here are five super easy ways to add more time into your busy hectic day.

  1. Morning Scheduling. Take ten to fifteen minutes every morning to plan your day. Determine what you really need to accomplish that day. Make your daily priority task list before you start your day. This will keep you focused and waste less time.
  2. Don’t Overload. Many of us take on more than we can handle. Multi-task can be bad thing if you’re constantly doing it. Don’t overload your day trying to juggle several things at once. It can actually drain time and take longer than if you just focused on one task at a time effectively.
  3. Break Time. Giving yourself a mini break for about ten or fifteen minutes between tasks on your priority list will make you feel less pressed for time. You can do whatever you find relaxing like listen to your favorite songs. Doing a little bit of something you would do if you had the day free throughout the day will give you a feeling of having more time.
  4. Combo Tasking. Combo tasking is simply knocking out two tasks by completing one. If you have know you have a busy day and you’ve made it a goal to exercise daily. Combo task by walking or riding your bike to and back while accomplishing a priority task. You will knock two birds out with one stone!
  5. Prepare Your Meals. Deciding what to eat, how to prepare it, or where to go takes up a lot of your daily time. Preparing your meals ahead of time will save you an up to an hour of extra time per meal a day. If you go out to eat for lunch knowing what you’re going to order and where you are dining eliminates unwanted wasted time.

    These are all excellent tips. My husband thinks lists are silly but up until a few years ago I used to make lists of things to do all the time. I’ll have to do that again.
