Follow Your Intuition
About trusting yourself.
Have you ever had that feeling that someone is watching you? Or have you had a dream that comes true in some way, shape or form? Well, that would be your intuition, calling you, beckoning you to act in your own best interest. Failure to heed the warnings, however they may show up, could result in consequences that one is not ready for. This is not blind faith or fate acting on your behalf in a small chain of events. This is intuition – an awareness of your physical self – detouring you from an unwanted scenario or even danger. The mind does not always rule the physical body. The physical body has a mind of its own. Mere instinct teaches you how to react and execute the answer that seems more logical.
The body communicates, expresses itself through the five senses. Intuition lies there in the 5 senses, speaking to you in different ways. A smell, a touch, a color becomes more vibrant. A song pops into your head for no reason (seemingly) and you sing it over and over. Even a sneeze can be a sign of something extraordinary. Unorthodox thoughts, thoughts that appear to oppose your normal pattern of thinking and everyday lifestyle, is your intuition grabbing at your attention. Normally this kind of thinking would appear obscure and far to the left so we dismiss it as that as it gets lost in the shuffle of maddening thoughts we have on a daily basis anyway. A missed opportunity for that extra twenty dollars or that date you’ve been wanting with that special someone. A missed chance for these thoughts to set in motion their own chain of events that lead you to the place you want and/or need to be. Your intuition takes place when the thought becomes a desire and the desire becomes strong. While it may be true that acting impulsively can get you into a fix, know that intuition will make your heart flutter, keep you grounded and thinking clearly as it guides you through to the next sequence of events. In other words, trusting yourself is all it takes.
So the next time you have a craving for your favorite ice cream but you’re too busy or just don’t want to make the trip to the store, notice how you feel. Are you nervous, anxious? Are you calm, relaxed? Go with your positive feelings. Who knows? That twenty dollar bill could be there, on the sidewalk waiting for you. Or that special someone you’ve been looking for could just happen to be at the same place. Trusting your thoughts and your body’s reaction to the five senses takes time to achieve, but with a little practicality, you could be seeing desired effects and watching your wishes come true before your very eyes.

Hi there – That is interesting. I feel sick when something is about to go wrong. Trouble is, I don’t always recognise it and sometimes I assume I have a stomach bug or something.
I was just reading your post on towns v cities. I feel drawn towards living in a city but I’ve only ever lived in small towns and villages. Maybe I should just follow me intuition.
