Four Thoughts for the Day
These are just four thoughts that I have been thinking about recently, or indeed just today. See what you think and if you disagree with any leave a comment in the comments section and lets see what other people believe.
Wrong choices.
When you make a choice yourself and it goes wrong, do you tell yourself that it would be better if someone else made the choices the next time?
Or do you just brush yourself down and try again?
I think that when we make a wrong decision, the hardest thing to do, is not to admit that it was a wrong decision, but the real hardest thing to do is to keep on going.
Trying to make another choice, because we believe that if our last choice turned out badly, then what is to stop this choice turning out the same or even worse?
(thought number two) Normality.
When we say that something is normal, what exactly is normality?
Is it something that is familiar or is it something that puts us at ease, in a situation that is new, and possibly nowhere near normal?
Everyday we experiance something new, but if nothing happens that is extraordinary, we just class it as normal.
I think one of my greatest fears is when things become too different, and therefore can no longer be classed as normal.
That is when we get truly scared!
(Thought number three) Reflection.
It is a weird thing to say, but looking back is the only way to move forward.
If we look back on our lives and see that we have made bad choices then we try to make different ones in the future. If we reflect on our lives and find we are heading in the direction we always wanted to head in, then we just carry on everything we are doing.
Though what happens when we look at our lives and realize that we are not heading where we wanted to go at all? When we realize that we are making the same wrong choices and we have missed that chance to change our lives, what happens then?
All we really want is a way to look into the future and see where we are going. Though would we see where we hope we are going or would it show us heading for somewhere we do not want to go?
(Thought number four) What’s next?
It does not matter how much we know, we are always wanting to know a little but more. We want to find the answers to the most difficult questions, and sometimes even to the most simplest of questions. In your life you never know what’s next, what awaits you round that corner, what new facts you might learn and what facts you may forget. Life is like an autobiography, that you write as you experience the events.
However the next chapter of this book is still unwritten!
