Goals: Something to Get You Through Your Day

by littlekid137 in Lifestyle Choices, October 28, 2009

Without goals you will live life without meaning and without purpose.

Whether it’s short-term or long-term goals are one of the best things for you to plan to make your life pointfull. Every day in your head you should make a list of goals for that particular day. Get up, eat breakfast, go to work; you get the idea.

Goals are also good for the upcoming year. Make them anytime in the year, not just New Years. Chances are New Year goals are less likely to be accomplished because if everyone else is failing their resolutions around it will make you more liable to fail yourself. These goals could be like getting a promotion at work, have another kid, you know. My goals for the upcoming year are something like: Start on the water polo team next year, try and get into a good college, finish my eagle project.

Life time goals are probably the most important and hardest to reach. Each and everyday you live will go towards striving for that one goal. These should be shared with other people so they can be an encouraging factor in your quest to get these goals. These goals can be, retire at an early anough age, be the best influence on my children as I can be, or visit somewhere. My life time goals are to visit every NFL stadium, and visit the Vatican City.

Goals are beyond important; you can not live life lost and goalless. It will be boring and sad. Make goals that are hard to reach, give yourself a challenge. Just do it.

Goals are what goalies try to prevent. Avoid life’s goalies.

agree with ken and with you too. But I prefer easy to reach goals first and then eventually go for harder ones.
