Gut Feelings: Is It Worth It?
There is no one to judge your thinking, so go ahead, ask yourself this question. You will see another side of yourself.
A question to ask yourself every moment of your life
There are always 2 sides to every story. There will be the optimist and the pessimist. In general, one can ask themselves this question regardless of whether they choose to be an optimist or a pessimist in life. It is a very simple question, and one should not go out of one’s way to ask themselves it. But whenever you (whether you’re popular, geek, jock, short, tall, buff, or even scrawny) decide to make a choice (being a simple choice or a tough one) always ask yourself one simple question. It will get you thinking…
Is it worth it?
Oh the wonderful joys of this question. You can be stuck on it for quite some time! Is it worth it? You have to think outside of the box. Think of the outcome, what might happen, what should happen, what will you gain out of it… is it worth it? Your friends are going out for dinner at a local fast food restaurant. They ask you to go with them, as long as you bring your own money. Is it worth it? Of course it is! The key to this question is: you will never expect what you get on the other end of this spectacular event. One Friday night you are alone watching T.V. You hear about people going to drink and have a party out by the park. You are really bored, seeing as there is nothing but news on. Whether this one person likes or dislikes drinking, why should they not ask themselves if it’s worth it? What’s the proper thing to do? What will you get out of it? Is it worth it? Stay in that seat; ask yourself one more time. You see, no matter how bad, or even good behaved you may be… your brain will tell you the right answer. Whether it is a yes, or a no, you will see that your gut tends to lead you in the proper direction. Don’t fight against the question, your gut is always right, and it will be right 99.9% of the time, for the rest of your life. You may find yourself happy that you did the right thing, happy that for once you realized it is not worth it, or maybe it was 100% worth it. Don’t do something you’ll regret. Don’t be afraid to live life on the edge and to have fun whenever you get the chance. But it’s true, there is a twinkle of good in every person, and if you ask yourself 1 simple question, then this is the beginning of the rest of your life.

Whoa, I can see how people wouldn’t do it lol, they probably think like “I’m all alone but I don’t want to make myself feel like an idiot”. I might try it, it seems that all the people around me are…not living life properly. They drink and do drugs, and it’s really stupid. So maybe if I try this, I can 100% avoid hanging out with people like that, and maybe it’ll lead to something good in life
The piece of writing may be awkward but it makes sense. Good job.
