Happiness?

     The other night on the topic of meaning of life with a friend I said in my opinion it was “return to innocence”. My friend said that he heard someone say that “children do what feels good and adults do what is good.” What a backwards way of life I replied. He then admitted his friend owned a million dollar company. I said “Ha!” Ask your friend if he is truly happy or if his money buys him happiness. My friend replied he is truly happy because his wealth lets him spend more time at home with the wife and kids and he must know what he’s talking about because he can. I said and what about all the people that work for him or have maybe gotten laid off because of the economy, does he think about them? I said he just found a loop hole that’s all. Point being it shouldn’t take money and the expense of others to bring you true happiness.
