Hate and Other Deep Feelings Last Forever

by Redburn in Lifestyle Choices, July 14, 2009

Think that time heals everything? Think that time changes bad feelings? Think that time turns bad people into good people?

Feeling are even more powerful than thoughts. A good feeling can and does last forever, as well as a very bad feeling.

The movie “The Secret” states that feeling good is more powerful than thinking good. Feeling success attracts more success than thinking success.

Even Bruce Lee says that to fight well people need to have emotional content.

When you were a child sure you had some people that hated you. Even if you did nothing wrong to them, they would still hate you. As time went by and you became a man, you thought that this feeling might have changed. More than one decade later you find the exact same person with the same hate if not even more!!

How is this possible? Human feeling like hate, love, fear, happiness, never change. If you like one particular car when you are a little boy, you will still love that car once you grow up if not even more. Feelings never change with time. They only become stronger. This is good for good feelings and for bad feelings too sadly.

Feelings are deeply connected to someone’s personality. If someone was lazy when they were little, chances are they are even lazier today. Same goes for almost every other personality trait.

Of course some people might change their personalities or feelings for something/someone but this is rare to see.

Want to know a very easy way to see in less than a second for someone’s feelings for you? My little cousins jump of happiness as soon as they spot me and they cry sometimes if I do not go to a family party where they go.

People that hate you on the other hand become incredibly happy when they know you are not coming and they become angry, irritated and depressed when they see you. You do not even know what their smile looks like because they never feel like smilling when you are around.

Try to see who reacts good or bad to your presence in your daily life. Words and thoughts can be chosen, but deep feelings never, so it’s easy to uncover such people.

Interesting path. Personally I can’t think of anyone I hate, not even those that have tried to kill me. Doesn’t mean I want anything to do with them, but for me hate is a strong word, forgiveness even stronger.
    Good job.
    Thanks,
