Hope is Not Pointless

Hope can make a difference.

One must have hope in this world. Now, things just seem so dismal. It can’t be that bad right? Everywhere you turn there is negativity. Everywhere you turn there is heartache. What is the point of hope? It is the light that peaks through the darkest places. It is what makes a child lost in the woods, believe that mom and dad will find him. It is the reason we have so many good nurses and doctors. It is the belief of a student who has just began getting their degree and must look at the four years they have to finish school. Hope reminds us of the place we want to be. It stops us from focusing on where we are now.

Hope can make the most depressed individual believe that just maybe, life could get better. We believe because we must. We continue to go on, because we must. It is not our destiny to quit. Hope allows us to have a thought of peace and a dream of happiness. Hope will allow you to take one step out of the bed and two steps toward the front door. Hope is not the only answer, but it is a good start. You can make it in this world. It seems that things are so bad. Now, all you hear are the bad and ugly tales of the world. It will make a person lose hope, joy, and peace of mind. You must know in your heart that things will get better. Why? Well, simply put, because you are still alive to fight yet another day.

You still have the mind, strength, and ability to keep hammering away at your dreams. Those who are living their dreams did not get there by chance. They had the naysayers, the doubters, the obstacles also. They had the setbacks, the heartaches, and the disappointments too. I’m sure there were times they wanted to quit. However, to have hope is to say to your self, “if I quit, I will never see it.” If you quit, you will never see the dream, the vision, or the promise come to manifestation. You will only remember the dream, but you won’t live it.  You must keep your hope of a better day, a brighter day, and a more prosperous day. This hope in you is there for a reason.

If you let it go, it can’t guide you. If you let it go, it won’t remind you. If you keep it  close it will be with you every step of the way. Keep hoping and dreaming.
