Hope Like the Hulk

The stronger the resistance, the greater the hope.  Stan Lee was really on to something when he created his Marvel character The Hulk— the angrier he gets, the stronger he gets.  It’s no exaggeration to say that every human being is endowed with that gift.  Hope has no equal and has never been defeated.  It can be evoked by anger, pain, joy, or desire— any emotion, any circumstance.  It is not governed by logic or custom.  It costs nothing and pays much.  It always prefers positive outcomes.  And best of all, the greater the obstacle, the stronger hope gets.

So, my hope is that you and I always have something beautiful to hope for.
