How to Live Better

I watched him in horror, his forehead bandaged from self inflicted wounds still using his head to attempt to smash down a tree. I stood there cringing at each blow until I could take it no longer. I reached for his shoulder and yanked him back away from his labor. I looked into his eyes. His tears that streamed down his cheeks mixed in with his blood that gushed from his wound.

I called out “stop”

I explained to him, I have a chainsaw!!! I offered it to him saying,”please use this for your labor, it works much better. But he broke free from grip and continued to smash his head against the tree in attempts to knock it down. “Why are you doing this I screamed?”

His animal soul had taken over his entire physical existence. He would not fail and by his own power he continued on smashing his head against the tree.

Why am I saying all this?

There has been a span of 2 months where I have began to write about this very subject and could not find the words to convey what it is I wanted to say. I want to explain a magical, wonderful opportunity each of us has been given! It is called by some evolution. If you believe in it, or you don’t believe in it, it is indeed a part of our human experience, and a very important part at that!

In the past streets were filled with horse drawn carriages now they are filled with loud cars, trucks and honking horns. You see evolution has taken its course and the creations of mankind have improved! This not only applies to what we see in our physical lifetime. Evolution is a distinct part of relationships, parenting and our emotions.

So your life growing up wasn’t the best. Your parents made a ton of mistakes and you are reeling still from the injustice and distress their actions have had on your life. You are attempting to pull yourself together and “be classified as normal” and yet you still cannot seem to do it. Your relationship is over it turned out to be a big disaster and silently promise yourself never again will you be bitten by the love bug! There are so many experiences you can add to this; indeed every single experience offers us and opportunity to evolve.

Evolving means to go forward, to develop, evolving means LIFE.

The Universe is filled with teachers of all ages. Are you looking for the teachers in your life? I know I am and I am so grateful they are all around. Recently in a group I am a member of there was a post that stated I am sorry for……..

What are you Sorry for???? There were many who added what it was they were sorry for. I could not do it, for I have been shown a better way. A way were sorry is not a part of the equation. A way were one seeks for the better and lives beyond the realms of regret, remorse, and guilt. A better way where one accepts each person they meet as unique individuals who are indeed offered the same gift of evolution as well. If you feel injustice lingering from the past, is it not true you understand a better way? Your parents or your relationship, war, poverty, religion, add whatever you wish into this…does not your offense of the situation come from knowing a better way??

I have found a better way than attempting to convince another of a better way, I just LIVE it. I join into the ever flowing abundance of evolution. I encourage all to seek the better ways of life and expressing life for your own journey on this earth. No matter what situation you find yourself in do not be stuck on the situation itself, do not be the one who continually bashes their head off a tree when (a better way/chainsaw) is available.

There is a piece of writing that says “TWO roads diverged within the woods and I took the one less traveled, and that is what made all the difference”

Evolve-be a better parent (then yours were)
Be a better lover (than you were before, or your partner who hurt you so badly was)
Be a better friend (you get my point?)
Be a better dreamer

This will indeed cause you to be Better at Living.
