How to Live the Life You Want

Do you want a new house, car or boat?

We all want something and that is why we work so hard.  Some of us were lucky enough to inherit a wealthy life.  Always knowing what it’s like to have nice things like lots of money, big houses, fine cars, and many other luxuries.  Most people coming up get to go to collage to acquire the skills and know how to get into a great job.  And put those skills to work for things they hope and dream of having one day.  More formally called goals.

But what about the little people who didn’t get that far. The ones who have struggled to make it in life and are still trying to this day to meet there goals for the future. It’s not too late for it to happen.  No matter how old we get we still have some fight and the want in us to do better.  Things will only change for the best if we change our ways and our life styles and start living within our means.  Accomplishing this task will not be an overnight process.  I will now share with you the keys to a new start and a new life.

First is to be the leader in your life and the way you live, the money you spend and the investments you make.  When I say be the leader in your life I mean take control of what you do and say.  We see others that have made it to the top.  That’s because they took control and set small goals and accomplished them one at a time to get where they are now.  So instead of trying to follow there goals the same way, step up to the plate and create your own way and small goals to get to the top.  You be the leader and not the follower.

Changing the way we live can be hard to do at times.  It’s could be as simple as to quit smoking, eating out so much as in fast food restaurants, or letting our house get messy instead of keeping it clean. Those are a few small personal goals for improving our health.  So we can enjoy the rest of our lives.

Now we get down to the money issue.  For those of us who are living pay check to pay check.  And in which many of us do.  We want that new watch, a new TV, a new stereo system, a new vehicle.  Waiting on this stuff is very hard to do.  But it can be done.  Prioritize and plan it so in the future you can have all those things.  And what most of us fail to realize is when we walk out on the limb and right out buy the new things that we wanted right at that particular moment, we dig into our pockets and hand over the cash or debit cards. Then next week we come up short on our car payment or some other bill.  Was it a being stupid? No it wasn’t being stupid.  You really wanted what you bought last week.  In fact it was only a lack of planning ahead.  It takes will power and strength to say I don’t need this right now.  Saying that then will hurt more than you can imagine.  But it will save you from struggling later.  This is called money management, taking care of you’re bills and keeping good on your word first.  Now what is really going to make you smile is when you check your bank account when all your bills are paid up to date and you still have money left in your account. Give it a shot.  And then a few months of doing this you will see that you have accumulated a nice bank roll.

Thank you for reading my article.  And please spread the word.
