Inspiring Strength
Giving others the strength to keep going.
Some people out there are emotionally stronger then others. With that, they keep those around them going. Pushing them to put one foot in front of the other, taking it one day at a time. Those people look at things differently, that there have been people in worse positions then me. Who have dealt with far more difficult situations. It all depends on the way you think, whether you are emotionally strong or weak.
Even if you do not see it, there are people watching you. There are people looking up to you and how you handle things. To them, you are their role model, someone they can look up to. Giving them words of encouragement; “You can do this, keep your head up, or you are strong even if you are having a bad day.” Sometimes, it takes being strong for someone, to give them the strength to do it themselves.
We all have our weaknesses, but do not let something you control, control you. Life is never suppose to be easy. Remembering everything that is important to you; your family, your friends, husbands, wives, and your kids. Everything that makes you smile each day.
Over the past six months to a year, I have stood by and helped so many people. Military girls, who have no feeling of strength left. Standing strong next to the man I love, who is dealing with more then just the hell’s of the desert. Helping my family, when they needed extra help.
I never understood why people looked up to me. When I asked, they told me because it was my strength in life. Dealing with my dad’s cancer, the death of my good friend, and every day life. I never expected life to be easy, but for some time I felt like it was against me. Then I started reminding myself, that there are always people worse off then me. I have lived by that for some time now, though I have been told I act like nothing is wrong. They just do not see what I feel, I do not go around whining about things I cannot change. I do not feel there is a need to.
The best thing to remember is changing how you think about things. Your life is not as bad as someone else’s, it could be worse!
