Is Life Linear or Circular?
Musings on the mysteries of life.
They say – it all goes around. They say – we go from dependent child to dependent elderly.
The say – the circle of life continues.
Is it really a circle? I am beginning to think – more and more – these are mere phrases. Life is a uni-directional linear line. ‘All goes around’ – have you or anyone proof of that other than mere coincidences and exceptions here and there. ‘Dependent child to Dependent Elderly’ – cannot be clubbed as one. As one, you are blissfully unaware of the life (with its ups and downs) yet to unfold. As another, you are pining for the time gone by and scared of the downhill around the corner..
‘The circle of life continues’ – a circle that is not travelled by you but by others after you and before you – so how is it related to your life?
Point being – forget the circle – live each segment of this life as a one-way linear track – thats all we know for sure
