Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Laughter
Come on people, lighten up and laugh a little.
I have often told people “I plan on living to be 120, unless I die first”. I have also commented that my definition of health is that “I have nothing contagious and I’m not dead yet”. My friend Krystal calls me funny-man. I told her I know I’m funny but looks aren’t everything. In this life a person has to have a sense of humor about it, at least in my opinion. After all nobody wants to be dismal, do they?
I guess the reason I write this particular article is because I want to know what makes you all laugh. I was inspired to write this while remembering the film patch adams. I have often heard it said that laughter is the best medicine. Dear readers I think too often people focus on the negative things, when someone’s outlook changes though they can get more happiness out of life.
I find comedic people to be a breath of fresh air, especially when there are so many people out there that seem to find happiness in misery. I for one want to live a life of joy, happiness, beauty, kindness and all things good. I am sick of the “woe is me” attitude so many carry these days. Lighten up, laugh, and live a little!
In the comments section of this article I want you all to tell me (at least one) of your favorite comedians and why you like them. If you care to elaborate more feel free. Take care and be blessed All.
