Homelessness is nothing to glamourize, yet nothing to hang your head in shame of either. since january of 2007 my son(age 2) and I have been what I prefer to call nomadic. The term Homeless brings about the stereotype of junkie, alcholic, lazy and mental handicaped. This is not so, I am just a disabled mother who can not work because of reasons beyond my control. I also attend college full time with online classes. It is no easy feat. Your comment that you plan to be a"hobo" one day; disgusts me. My son spent his first birthday in a shelter, I would do anything to change that.I guess this is just another example of free speach being used in ignorance.
