Live Life to the Fullest!
Continual lifelong learning keeps the mind young, the heart refreshed, living an exciting adventure!

Making continual learning goals is an important part of staying young. When you keep your mind active and fresh, alert to the unknowns, life becomes more interesting, the limitless doors of greater possibilities materialize with brighter clarity.
The bright zeal found in youthful hearts has much to do with continual learning. Children’s eyes gleam zestfully when something new is introduced into their lives. Suddenly, they are filled with energetic “why’s” and “what if’s”, etc. Their curiosity is like an incredible shot of adrenaline! It is a rush, a natural high and this is why I wholeheartedly support the lifelong commitment to learning.
In order to successfully add this great practice to one’s life, it is essential to plan for it. I believe it is important to consciously schedule time for it because as many people already find, it can be easy to talk about wanting to do something, but the actual doing can easily be set aside and forgotten about when a commitment to it has not been solidly made. This is true for anything in one’s life. If you do not make time for friends, you will lose touch with them. If you do not take the necessary steps to save money, plan a trip, etc. you will not be able to take that vacation you have been day dreaming about.
It is great to have ideas. But if you want them to be brought to fruition, you must make them happen. And you deserve your every dream and desire to be fulfilled. Yes, it would be nice if thoughts alone manifested results, but not only is this not reality, you would also not appreciate them to the powerful depths you will when you are the one responsible for making your life the picturesque vision painted in your mind.
So take the time to not only plan when you want to sit and enrich your mind with the limitless knowledge we are surrounded by in our remarkable world, but be specific about what you will be accomplishing during that time. Do you want to spend an hour a week reading a new book? Do you want to learn a new language? Be practical and take into account the reality of your life.
The idea of adding learning goals to your life is for the enhancement and betterment of your life, not to add further stress or anxiety. It is not a race. One person who appears to be more intellectually knowledgeable than another is by no means a reflection of that person being any better than the other.
Everyone’s path is different. We all have the capacity to create, learn, do, and be the best we can possibly be as individuals. We all have different interests, focuses, strengths, etc. Without each of us, this world would not be the same. And, we need everyone to make this world a better place.
Live life to the fullest, enjoy, love, learn, and create!
