Live Life Wisely

As I sit and listen to the soft, soothing, sounds of The Frames – Falling Slowly, I realize that life isnt that hard to figure out. Really, you live, you learn, you die. That’s it. I mean, people have meaning in this world. Some even believe that you get a second chance or a second life. I believe that we are here once, so why not make an impact?

Get out and do something! Don’t waste your time! You never get it back. As gloomy as an approach as that is, hopefully it’s an eye opener. I’m not saying do anything wreckless or extremely dangerous, but get out there and live a little, before you can never live again.

I’m taking up sky diving this summer, and sure I’m only 21 years of age, but I feel as though life is moving too fast. As I’ve learned from some of my elders, it does. I always hear the same thing “I wish I could have.” Well you know what, I’m going to. Thats my take on it. I dont want to have to say “I wish” I want to say “I have.”

Take this as you may, but don’t leave this writing without taking at least a few minutes to reflect.
Love like you’ve never loved. Change any bad habits you’d like to change while you have the time. Meet some one new everyday. Do something that scares you once in a while. That’s what living is all about. Being hidden in a room on the computer, watching TV all day is relaxing, sure, but so is getting outside in the sun and viewing the lake/scenery. You never know , it may be the last time you get to do something like that.

Life changes in so many ways. As long as it is, it’s very short. Sound weird? Think about it. Think about when you were 10. How about 16? It seems like just yesterday doesnt it? No matter your age, we all have time.

What have you done? What will you do? Have you made an impact? Are you going to look back in 10, 20, 50 years and say “I Wish” or will you say “I have”

It’s your life, make it worthwhile!
