Living in a Very Small Village
Living in a big town might mean you can meet more people and do more things but the noise and the pollution makes small villages unbeatable.
Living in a very small town has it’s advantages. The first one is that everybody knows everybody. If you want to go to someone’s house but you just know the name of the person all you have to do is to ask anyone where Mr X lives and 90% of the time that person will know. A small village with less than 500 population makes this easy to meet and remember people forever.
However the disadvantages are big: If you go to a cafe and you get drunk, the following day everyone will comment about it. It’s bad to see our name in other’s months specially for something bad, because for good things people seldom talk a about, specially if it’s not about them.
Another thing you will love about small villages is the lack of motor traffic. Bicycles are common and donkeys tool, but cars are only the garage, after all the small market and the pharmacy and the bank is so close to you, it’s much better to go for a walk than to burn fuel.
Living in such villages has the advantage of being in a calm place without any kind of noises. You cannot imagine how peaceful it is to work with your computer while you listen to the birds singing and watching the cows eating grass.
Would you ever live in such place?

I think cities are great for single people…but I do prefer living in a smaller and quieter area.
