Living Life with Purpose
Living begins when you discover God’s purpose for your life. Existence is not the same as living. Majority of persons in the earth have existence but are not living. Living life without a purpose is existence. A mere drifting with the current.
Living life without purpose is like a dead fish floating on water. Many folks are like this. Floating through life. The go where ever the current takes them. Dead fish don’t swim and because dead fish don’t swim the water determines where the fish go and where they end.
You have got to discover God’s purpose for your life and live for that purpose. Many successful people are people who discovered their purpose for living and decided to live life with purpose. Jesus laid an example for us. Even though He was God in flesh He still had to discover God’s purpose for His life.
Purpose is what makes life meaningful. Purpose develops focus by eliminating distractions. God has designed a purpose for your life but you must discover it to live life on purpose.
Discover your purpose. You are not a mistake or an accident. You are alive for a reason. What is that purpose you seem to be asking? That is something you are going to have to discover. However to find or discover your purpose you are going to have to discover who your creator is. No one knows a product like the manufacturer of the product. God is the creator of everything and everyone including you.
He has a purpose for creating you. You would have disappointed the creator if you fail to live His purpose for your life. You must discover your purpose because unless you know the purpose of a thing you cannot get the best out of it.
I have come to understand that the reason many people are living below what God has planned for them is because they do not know who they really are and what they have been called to do. We are not winning in life because we are performing below our optimum. We perform below our best and settle for less than the best because we are ignorant of the real reason why we were created and are alive.
You may not be living your life to the fullest. That is because you have not discovered your purpose in life. Life must be lived with purpose to be meaningful and for you to be fulfilled and successful. There is a God in heaven and he created you on purpose for a purpose. The best thing that can happen to you is to discover what that purpose and live your life to the fullest possible. So live your life on purpose. That is the best way to live.
