Moving Forward with Life

Challenges make life more colourful. I don’t hate them but I love beating them, should I fail, I love planning my moves to beat them. Whatever happens I would win, God and my dad’s guidance would always bring out the best in me.

To my dad, to get myself involved in an argument was foolish, according to him learned people don’t argue, they talk and settle things in a subtle and urbanized way.He would recommend change of environment should things get out of hand or the situation requires me to exert effort in mediating and teaching SUPPOSEDLY emotionally matured people who don’t act their age and prefer  living their lives like toddlers considering the fact that they are physically grown up,it’s just not fair for me. My dad would definitely advise me to LEAVE ASAP. Before things get worst and I get victimized.

He always believed in what I can do. He was always very proud of me. My dad was a funny man. My mom would always burst into laughter whenever they were together. We miss him so much it would have been his 63rd birthday on 7th of November

I remember the time when he convinced me to have shooting lessons so I would learn how to fire a gun for self defense purposes,I learnt how to fire 45 caliber pistol, 38 revolver and M16. I had regular target shooting lessons using 45 Caliber pistol at the camp as my dad was a policeman- a very honest policeman. He also encouraged me to have karate lessons, so I have learnt karate and aikido, it was free for the dependants of uniformed personnel then.I reached the level of green belt. My Master in karate was always worried to find someone to do sparring with me as when we had a drill in punching the bag, I hit it hard and it sank half way through. So I was just having the punching bag as my sparring partner for punches like that. (scary ey? don’t worry I’m nice hehehe)

He often told me. It didn’t matter if we didn’t have the luxuries like what other people have, what’s important was that we have good education and have grown up as responsible citizen which is the very basic foundation of a good life in the future. He said what he was teaching was his great investment. I couldn’t understand what he was saying before. But  now I fully understand everything, his teachings are there to save & guide me all through out my lifetime- Thanks Dad I appreciate it. You really rock, your existence was indeed a legacy as what you have taught me is the same stuff I’m sharing to others which could also guide them when they make decisions.

My dad’s knowledge of Philosophy was profound, he had such an in depth knowledge which he was born with. A genuine Philosopher indeed. I was treated like a real princess by my family. I guess I keep holding on to that time when both my dad and my brother were still alive. I just miss them both so much.
