Nature: A Beautiful Teacher

We can learn much from nature.

Everyday as I continue to write and receive comments from readers, friends and loved ones, my beliefs and prayers are not only being reinforced, they are strengthened and renewed.

It is my sincere belief that the more that you believe in yourself, the more that you love yourself, the more that you can give to others. When you are at your lowest, this is when you need support and love from others. Therefore, once you have taken the time to trust your instincts with people and invite them into your life, allow them to support you as well. This not only helps soothe your spirit, it helps your friends and loved ones grow as well.

Have you ever noticed how good you feel after you know you have helped someone you love? Your spirits are lifted; you see the beauty inside your heart and soul with more poignant lucidity. So, allow this gift to be bestowed upon your friends as well. Relationships are a two way street. We grow and learn from one another. It is a back and forth “volley”. If one doesn’t return our “volley” then the game ends. The connection is stopped until the other person volleys the ball back.

Like plants, if placed in the sunshine and watered regularly we will grow. Furthermore, if we are placed in the best light necessary for the “type” of plant we are, put in the best soil for our needs, and watered in the specific manner that will help our flowers and leaves shine brighter and more brilliantly we will not only continue to grow, we will flourish and bloom to spectacular colors. We will reach our greatest potentials.

Each plant is different. Some need to be watered once a week and some more often. Some need direct sunlight, others just a spot of sun. Each plant is unique. Each plant will respond to proper care and maintenance.

Metaphorically, each person just needs to be treated with care and be handled in the proper “light” to thrive at their best capabilities. When we take the time to learn what those specific things are, we watch our friends and loved ones “flourish” to realms in their life beyond all expectations…because “the only limits are those we place on ourselves” for there are no limits.

So, take care of one another. We are all doing our best to survive, to thrive, and live the best lives we possibly can. If someone is not on the same path as you, do not look down upon them, or place yourself in a light of superiority. They are simply a different “type” of plant and their journey and life is important and something to appreciate as well.

There is much we can learn from nature.

As a child we had a saying whenenever we got insulted or called ‘a drip’ and that went, a drip is a drop, a drop is water, water is nature and nature is beautiful and so are you! You are always so positive and trying to uplift everyone’s spirits with your positive beliefs. It truly works. I was just reminded of that ditty through your words and that was a pleasant memory for me. Thank you.
