New Year’s Resolutions
Top Ten 2009 New Year’s Resolutions.
1. This year make your own list of New Year’s Resolutions. Don’t borrow one from the internet. Set your goals, divide them in short and long term one’s, and be sure you remind yourself of them. Creating a vision board can help you with that.
2. In the case you borrow this resolutions, you must follow them without excuses! Train yourself to be persistent, and determined!
3. Don’t spend more than one 3 hours a day in front of TV and PC, unless your job demands otherwise. Instead..
4. Dedicate each day at least half an hour to physical exercise. And no, walking to the store, to buy a beer is not an exercise. You can do push-ups, jogging, cycling.. gym isn’t such a bad idea either, huh? It’s for your own good after all!
5. If you are a single guy, each week approach at least 5 women you find attractive. Time to get that part of your life sorted! In case women scare the hell out of you, hire a dating coach! There are dozens of them, so make sure you pick a good one!
6. Spend more time with your family and friends! Don’t be around them only when you need something! Appreciate those who will stand beside you, and support you in hard times !
7. Travel. It’s 21st century, my dear reader! With all of low cost airlines out there, that will get you almost anywhere on the world for only couple hundreds of dollars, you have no excuse! Learning about other cultures, can be priceless experience. Volunteering can also be an option for you. Helping those in need is never bad decision!
8. Stop smoking! OK, New Year’s Resolutions list, isn’t a list if there ain’t „Stop smoking”, but seriously, in case you haven’t heard: smoking CAUSES LUNG CANCER. So take it seriously.. you won’t regret. And you will stink less.
9. Remind yourself of what you wanted to be „when you grow up”. Are your dreams fulfilled, or did you dropped them somewhere? Maybe your dreams have changed.. are you doing something to make them come true?
10. The average human life is 28,000 days long. But unfortunately, not every one of us has got opportunity to live that long. In the next year there are 365 days, so spend them wisely. Live every day as it is your last!
Happy New Year !
