Speak the Native Tongue:
- Naked folks on beaches are not nudists! Of course not! Those who regularly sunbathe – and occasionally play volleyball – in the buff (sand) – like to be referred to as naturists – and can appear offended if called simple nudists!
- Naturists take their naturism very seriously – as it is both a cultural and political movement that has been around since the early 20th century. They are widely represented via special interest groups, associations, delegations, and factions that criss-cross the globe!
Don’t be a Hick, Ask Before you Click:
- Nude beach etiquette lays bare the importance of securing permission before taking photographs of the bits and pieces of other beach-goers! This is a beach – not a zoo! You will quickly be exposed – if not overexposed - as nothing other than a crass tourist, and immediately stripped of any and all nude beach cred’!

Thanks. Interesting article. Sometimes, people find peace and relaxation in letting it all out. I’m glad they can do it at certain beaches.
